Hi,

Interesting title that! The first thought that strikes my mind here is the larger question of what do we define as talent. Is there a process to draw the boundaries of what we can categorise as talent. What influences the development of talent or its decline and whether ensuring a favorable climate to develop talent is sufficient enough to guarantee talent development in an individual or an organisation. Or do we roll back to the forlorn theories of how adversity brings out the best out of an individual. Worth a ponder, don’t you think?

I agree that Talent is innate but why do most people fail to discover their talents and more importantly why do they not follow their dreams and work in areas related to their talent?
